This was a good read. It made me think about some of my biases for and against OOP. I think OOP is one of the many tools a good dev should have in their toolbelt. I'm sure many of the functional devs from the 60s and 70s were complaining about OOP when it was first introduced. I think as a professional dev, it is imperative for me to learn about as many paradigms and tools as I can so I don't get stuck in the "all I've got is a hammer mentality".
