These are some good patterns for handling events in a generic way. I am curious how you dealt with the subscriptions created by both patterns. Did you find you were leaking subscriptions? Did you omit the subscription handling to make the article more clear? I really like the pattern presented, but would like to know more before presenting it to the rest of the devs I work with.
